Attention Jeep Lovers: Be On the Lookout For These Easter Eggs

Attention Jeep Lovers! Be on the Lookout for Hidden Easter Eggs - old Jeep Willys graphic on windshield

Does Your Jeep Have a Hidden Mystery?

Did you know that your Jeep probably has a hidden easter egg? No, we’re not talking about the colored eggs you find at Easter; we mean a hidden, unexpected feature. The fun started back in 1997 with the Jeep Wrangler TJ. This redesigned Jeep duplicated the iconic 7-bar grille and integrated it into the new grille to not only make it unique but also to allow more airflow. Now, every Jeep comes off the line with a hidden Easter egg. Want to know where to find them? Stop by EAG CDJR Carthage, and we’ll give you some hints.

Popular Jeep Easter Eggs

Some Easter eggs are more popular than others and are easier to find on some models. Keep in mind that there’s no guarantee that your Jeep will have what you’re looking for, but here are some places to get started. Look for a pair of flip-flops on the Jeep Wrangler or the Jeep Gladiator’s cowl. You can also find a tiny gecko if you look on the Jeep Compass dashboard. Look closely on the rear windshield of the Jeep Renegade, and you just might find a tiny sasquatch. And, if you open up the fuel door of your Jeep Renegade, you might find a spider saying, “Caio, baby!” Want to know more about these Jeep Easter eggs? We can fill you in when you come to EAG CDJR Carthage to get a closer look.

Can You Decipher Morse Code?

One of the coolest Easter eggs is on the Jeep Compass. You can find it on the left footrest on the driver’s side by the pedals. It is Morse Code and spells out four words from the left column to the right. You might want to learn how to decipher Morse Code, so you can check to make sure it says Sand, Snow, Rivers, and Rocks. You can find out more about the Jeep models that have Easter eggs by coming to EAG CDJR Carthage.

Your Jeep Might Even Have More Than One Easter Egg

Don’t stop hunting once you find the first egg because you never know if you might find another. The Jeep logo is a popular Easter egg and can be found in several different places. Look on the windshield and on the tire rims to start. You also might want to take a peek at the cloth covers on your Jeep’s seats. If you look at them in the right light, you can see the Jeep logo underneath the mesh fabric.
